I have never really realized the connection to "The morning" until now. Mom and I are doing a non-denominational Bible study entitled "A Women's Heart" with some of the missionary wives here in Togo. Beth Moore is the writer of this study. It is absolutely wonderful! In these last few lessons she has brought some things into focus that I would like to share with you all.
The Manna was rained down with the dew in the morning. The Israelites had to RISE EARLY to get it because, it melted away with the day. When the Lord gave the Israelites a chance to bless Him, (when they brought their gifts for the Tabernacle) they brought their gifts in the morning! OKAY Here's the coolest part.......Jesus died in the evening right?!?!!?!?! BUT, HE ROSE IN THE MORNING! WOW! What a connection....There's just something about the morning! It brings refreshing, newness......What am I missing by not getting up and COLLECTING my Manna every morning? Just thought I would share this inspiration with you!
